Early Morning Workout to Jump Start your Metabolism

Early Morning Workout to Jump Start your Metabolism.

If you are a morning person, you have no problem waking up and making your workout the first activity of your day. However, that’s not the case for many people. Sometimes when we hear the alarm going off in the morning, getting up and working out just seems like the worst idea in the world.
The key is not to overthink it: just get up and go. Let’s take a quick look at the word training and it’s definition.
– Training: the action of teaching a person or animal a particular skill or type of behavior. That is exactly what you will be teaching your mind and body, a behavior. A healthy and positive behavior that will strengthen all other aspects of your life.
Exercising provides us with numerous benefits for health and weight loss. However, working out in the morning offers an extra boost to our metabolism, that can last for several hours throughout the day. Sounds great doesn’t it?
Morning Workouts and your Metabolism
Aside from conscience eating, your metabolism is one of the most important variables in the weight loss equation. It is responsible for the amount of calories you burn every day, so any help to give it an extra pump is always appreciated. And that’s where the morning workouts come in.
Think about it: you just woke up after hours of sleep with absolutely no activity. Your body needed rest, so your metabolism slowed down and burned a significantly smaller amount of calories during the night. When you wake up, your metabolism will maintain that slower pace unless you eat something, exercise or both. Therefore, an early morning workout can be an amazing way to kick-start your metabolism, begin burning calories and this takes place fat right after waking up.
That isn’t the only advantage. Studies have shown that people who work out in the morning burn more calories than those who workout during the afternoon or in the evening. These extra calories will not only burn during the workout itself, but it will also burn throughout the day. This happens because the metabolic boost you obtain from working out in the morning can last several hours  after you are done.
A recent study has shown that a short and intense morning workout can make you burn around 200 extra calories during the day. It will also give you more energy to tackle every new challenge that comes your way at work or at home. I’m sure these benefits are worth waking up early for, right?
There is no mystery. You will reach our weight loss goals if you eat clean and exercise, but if that can be made just a little bit easier with the help of a faster metabolism, why not try it?
Boot Camp Early Morning Workout
Boot Camps are an amazing option to give us the much needed structure and discipline to stick to an exercise routine. When you actually commit to a program of a given length, for example, four weeks, you are much more likely to wake up for it. You chose to do it, so you can put your sleeping in days behind you, at least for a while.
Let’s not forget that having a group of like-minded friends working out with you and waiting for you to be there also plays an important role in the process of getting you out of bed.
Starting your day with an early morning workout will get you energized for the rest of the day. Plus, if the weather allows it, can you imagine how great it will be to exercise surrounded by nature, fresh air and sunlight?
Lastly, we must mention the feeling of total satisfaction and confidence you get after you’ve completed an early morning workout. You managed to wake up and do it; it’s literally like nothing can stop you. You’ll carry that attitude throughout the day, having an extra motivation to devote yourself to each and every new challenge that comes your way. Physical activity just doesn’t get any more exciting than this.
